PRODE and iDEAlab collaborate in preparation for STARTIFY StartUp Weekend
StartUp Weekend combines numerous activities aimed to encourage students to generate ideas and to innovate. StartUp Weekend also provides a support in implementation of developed business ideas. Since the competition consists of both, theoretical and practical part, students will go through both practical and theoretical preparation for idea development. All preparation activities are performed in accordance with project activities for the third year of two UDG projects (laboratories), PRODE and iDEAlab.
All the STARTIFY participating student teams shall complete the two-day training program STARTIFY7, on processes and stages in idea development. Training is organized by Sheffield University. Attached you may find detailed agenda of this training program.
Following the training, teams will prepare for StartUp Weekend, a 54-hours long event gathering designers, programmers, entrepreneurs and experts from different fields. During the event, UDG student- teams will have an opportunity to present their work developed in PRODE and iDEAlab UDG laboratories. Teams with best ideas will continue to work on business planning, market analysis, design and coding and their idea will be presented to local entrepreneurs and experts who will advise them on possible ways for further development.
