WBF PROPOSAL SUBMITTED: Enhancement of Graphic and creative centers in WB region

University of Donja Gorica, including PRODE and iDEA Lab, with partners from region, Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTN), Novi Sad and The University of Zenica (UNZE), Bosnia and Herzegovina, has submitted the proposal to Western Balkan Funds (WBF) Supporting Common Project: Enhancement of Graphic and creative centers in WB region.
The main objective of the action is raising awareness on importance of innovation and new creative ideas for economic and sustainable development among academia, creative centers and young individuals, but also to give additional support to strengthen innovation and HR capacities by using of the improved creative centers at University of Donja Gorica (PRODE and iDEA Lab) in Montenegro, The Faculty of Technical Science in Serbia and Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, University of Zenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Improving labs that were already exist at all three institutions, students will be educated about the principle of work, the possibility of learning through the practice in area of design and eventually the possibility of placement of creative and developed design models on the market using existing equipment and laser cutting.

This project is multidisciplinary as it includes knowledge from a variety of fields such as CAD modeling and simulation, mechanics, statics, woodworking technology, materials and strength of material but also, according to the existing capacities of mentioned centers.

These project will provide infrastructural resources necessary to secure project sustainability beyond its lifetime, but also additional support to already existing 3D labs. Results and best practice will be actively diffused and exploited at national and regional level.
