ProDe join CEEPUS NETWORK!

New project proposal Multidisciplinary Approach to Education and Research in the Field of Digital Media Production has approved and ProDe has join CEEPUS Network together with other 11 universities from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.

CEEPUS network joining aim is to improve ProDe laboratory so that it can attract students, staff, researchers and some new ideas into its sustainability and development, but also entrepreneurial learning among staff and students will be enhanced participating in exchange. This will be additional opportunity for staff engaged in PRODE laboratory to improve their knowledge and skills. This project primarily aims to form a respective network in the field of digital media production where multidisciplinary approach to education and research in this field will be practiced through which the knowledge and educational skills on the subject will be significantly improved.

The network assures an efficient possibility for students and teachers mobility, that contribute to a mutual acquaintance and valuable educational and research programs development. Not only acquisition of necessary information has great significance but also dissemination is essential of universities and other scientific institutions. Another important possibility is the possibility to create joint programs of study, common evaluation of diploma and Ph.D. works.

The improvements will have a basis in constant research and education in key areas, computer-assisted creation and editing techniques. The research and education will include the field of design, contemporary post production techniques, video and sound editing, 3D animation, motion design, computer games, WEB design, multimedia. Combining a multidisciplinary theoretical background with practical approach, the project will contribute to research and education development in creative media and project-based collaborations which demand an increasingly fluid and mobile workforce.

Every participant will conduct this research in their field of interest. The common benefit will be the possibilities for undergraduate students, Ph.D. students and teachers to work on M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis in the field of their interest which might not be their home institution. In cooperation with network partners, lectures, seminars, summer courses and scientific conferences and workshops will be organized.
